Appointment System: Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

We are changing our Appointment System for our Seven Loaves Food Pantry starting Friday, November 20.

Previously, neighbors had to re-enter demographic and household contact information every single time they booked a food visit. With our new system, you will only need to complete your registration once per year. Booking future visits will be as simple as logging in and picking your date and time—connecting all Storehouse services under one convenient account.

Why are we changing appointment systems?

The new system is designed to save you time and improve your overall experience:

  • No More Repeating Information: Instead of typing out your household, contact, and demographic details every single visit, you only update your information once every 12 months.

  • One Login for Everything: Access both Seven Loaves Food Pantry and Joseph’s Coat Clothing Closet with the same email and password.

  • Faster Scheduling: Once registered, booking, rescheduling, or canceling your visit takes just a few taps.

  • Self-Service Convenience: Easily view available openings or manage your schedule at any time from your phone or computer.

What is staying the same?

  • Website Link: You will still start at thestorehousecc.org/seven-loaves to schedule your visit.

  • Visit Frequency: Neighbors are still welcome to visit Seven Loaves once per calendar week.

Do I need to create a new account?

  • If you have already visited Joseph’s Coat Clothing Closet (at our Christiansen Family Campus in Carrollton): You already have an active Storehouse account. Do not create a new one. Log in with your existing email and password. Once signed in, make sure you select Food Pantry – Plano from the program dropdown (not Clothing Closet – Carrollton).

  • If you have never visited Joseph’s Coat: You will create your Storehouse account the first time you book an appointment after November 20.

Do I have to re-enter my household information every time I book?

No! That is the biggest improvement. You complete the full registration form only once a year. For all subsequent visits during the year, simply log in, select your preferred date and time, and confirm.

What if I forgot my username or password?

  • Your username is always the email address you used when registering.

  • If you do not remember your password:
    1. On the login screen, select Login via Email.
    2. Check your email inbox for a message from The Storehouse Appointment System ([email protected]). (If you do not see it within 2 minutes, check your Spam or Junk folder.)
    3. Tap the secure link in the email to log straight in without typing a password.

Why don't I see any open appointment times?

There are two common reasons:

  • Weekly Limit Reached: You have already booked or attended a food distribution visit this calendar week. New appointment times will become visible for your account next week.
  • Wrong Program Selected: Check the program dropdown at the top of the scheduling screen. Make sure it is set to Food Pantry – Plano and not Clothing Closet – Carrollton.

Why am I seeing dots ("...") on the screen instead of dates and times?

This occurs when two automated language translation tools run at the same time:

  • If your phone or web browser has automatic translation enabled (such as Google Chrome or Safari Auto-Translate), do not click the translate button inside the appointment system.
  • Turn off one of the two translators, refresh your screen, and the dates and times will display normally.

What happens after I schedule an appointment?

  • You will immediately receive a confirmation email from [email protected]. Scroll to the bottom of the email to confirm your program name, appointment date, and arrival window.

  • You will also receive an automated reminder email and text message 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time.

What should I do if I cannot make it to my scheduled visit?

Please log into your portal and cancel your appointment as soon as possible so another family can use that open time slot.

(Note: If you miss an appointment without canceling, the system will hold your visit slot for that calendar week, and you will not be able to schedule another visit until the following week.)
