Food & Clothing Donations
Thank you for your gifts of food and clothing. Your donated items are distributed to our neighbors to meet their needs.
You can download our in kind donation receipt by clicking below. If you would like to receive an acknowledgement letter or notify The Storehouse that you've made this donation, please complete the in kind acknowledgement form by clicking below.
Our Most Needed Items
FOOD
- Granola Bars (10 -12 count box, Crunchy or Chewy)
- Single Serving Snacks (1 – 1.5 oz , goldfish, Cheez-its, peanut butter crackers, cheese crackers)
- Fruit Snacks
- Six packs or 1-1.5 oz packs of Cookies (Oreo's, Nutter Butter, Chips Ahoy, etc.)
- Ready-to-Eat Soups, Stews, Pastas & Meats (pop-top preferred)
CLOTHING*
- Coats and Jackets - New or Gently Used; Men's, Women, and Children; All sizes needed
- Children's Clothing - New or Gently Used; Boys and Girls sizes 2-16
- Teenage or Junior Clothing - New or Gently Used; All sizes needed
- Women's Clothing - New or Gently Used; All sizes needed
- Men's Clothing - New or Gently Used; All sizes needed
- Adult Work Clothing - New or Gently Used; Suitings or Business Casual
- Adult and Children's Shoes - All sizes needed
- New Underwear & Socks - Men's, Women and Children; All sizes
- Accessories related to clothing: handbags, belts, scarves, hats, etc.
*Select clothing donations may be consigned to fund essential items, with 100% of proceeds going directly back into Joseph’s Coat.
In Kind Donations: Dos & Don'ts
DOS
Food
✔ Donate non-perishable food items in unopened and undamaged containers.
✔ Donate food items within the sell-by date.
Clothing
✔ Donate clean, gently-used, and new clothing, shoes, and accessories.
✔ Place donations in plastic bags only.
✔ Drop off donations in our outside donation shed.
✔ Contact us if you plan to donate more than six large bags of clothing.
DON'TS
Food
✖ Don't donate food items in glass containers.
✖ Don't donate opened containers of food, supplements, or medications.
Clothing
✖ Don't donate furniture, home goods, books, toys, electronics, or toiletries.
✖ Don't place donations in cardboard boxes.
✖ Don't place donations on the ground if the donation shed is full.
Donation Drop Off Hours & Locations
1401 Mira Vista Blvd., Plano, Texas 75093
Our front entrance is located in the north parking lot of St. Andrew Methodist Church when you enter along Mira Vista Boulevard. Please deliver food donations to the front entrance.
Clothing donations can be dropped off in our outside donation shed. The donation shed is open 24/7, 7-Days-a-week. Please refrain from leaving items on the ground if the shed is full.
Larger Donations
Please contact us via email if you have any questions about in kind donations, drop off times, or if you would like assistance from our staff or volunteers to help with unloading larger donations of food and clothing.
