Start Volunteering in Three Easy Steps:

 
Step 1: Find your best fit by reviewing the different opportunities to serve through our three programs below.
 
Step 2: Click on the link to check our calendar for available slots.
 
Step 3: Register* online and sign up to serve "as neighbors in one community."

*Minimum Age - You must be 14 years of age or older to volunteer with The Storehouse. All volunteers age 17 and under (minors) must complete a waiver signed by the parents and the youth volunteer and submit it at check in before starting your first volunteer session. Adults, 18 years and older, are required to complete a Background Check in the registration process and must be renewed every two years.

Volunteer Opportunities

Feed: Seven Loaves Food Pantry

Help us provide food for our neighbors. Volunteers assist with greeting neighbors, sorting produce, bagging food, loading food into vehicles, and cleaning up. Shifts are usually 3 hours long. Prep sessions take place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays while distribution sessions are on Thursdays and Saturdays.

Clothe: Joseph's Coat

"Food gives life, clothes provide dignity." Joseph's Coat volunteers assist with greeting neighbors, sorting and organizing clothing items, set up for shopping days, and cleaning up. Shifts are usually 3 hours long. Prep sessions take place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays while distribution sessions are on Thursdays.

COMING SOON

Care: Project Hope

Project Hope volunteers provide a listening ear to our neighbors visiting pantry who express a need beyond the basisc of food and clothing. Working alongside a Licensed Professional Counselor, volunteers help provide encouragement, as well as referral resources within the local community to the families we serve.
